Assignment.	How well I did on this assignment.	What I learnt that would be useful when I make my own music video.
Compare and analyse two music videos essay	I believe that I did quite well on this task as I tackled in depth all aspects that were given to analyse. Also, I think I wrote it well, as I think I am good at writing essays.	The most important thing I learnt was how important it is to have each shot perfect in terms of lip syncing (especially with fast songs), creativity and the shot angle.
Star image analysis	This task went well because as well as doing the specified aspects to write about, I also done extra work so I really indulged into the task and therefore had a stronger piece of work.	I learnt how important it is to have an iconic look for an artist. By them having an iconic look it makes the artist memorable which is something I need to keep in mind when creating my artist/bands look.
Institutions behind big/small videos	I did okay on this task. I don’t think I wrote enough on this task as I could’ve gone in depth a bit more.  But the main reason for this is that we found it really hard to find the information we needed.	I discovered the range of budgets are used for videos and learnt how much impact money can have over the whole production. Obviously we have a very small budget so I now know how limited we are and we can’t be to elaborate in decision makings.
CD cover analysis	I think I did well on this task. I chose good CD covers to analyse which consequently gave me a good amount of aspects to analyse.	I now know the variety of designs you can have and how each one is individual. So, I need to design a CD cover that is unique against others.
In depth CD cover analysis	I did well on this task as I went in depth and did the presentation on ‘prezi’, which is a good way of presenting work.	From doing this task I now realise the amount of aspects you need to take into consideration when designing CD front covers.
What music means to me	I really enjoyed this task so obviously I put a lot of thought into it.	The thing I learnt from this task is how much a song can mean something to someone. So when choosing a song for our music video, we have to choose a really good song.
Britney Experience	This task went okay. We spent a long time doing it but this was due to everyone not being that experienced using the software.	I now realise how time consuming it is to make a video, so I know that my group needs to allocate enough time to successfully finish the video to a high level.
Song choices	I believe I did very well on this task as I think I chose three very good song choices that would work very well. Also, as well as stating why I chose the song, I also put forward a potential narrative/concept that would work well for the song. I did this by reading into the lyrics to get a good understanding of the story/themes the original artist is illuminating.	The main thing I learnt was that how hard it will be making a final decision because all my ideas are very different from one another; as well my other group members have their own ideas so it will be hard agreeing on one song. Also, we need to choose a song that has the potential to have really good story.
Watching and analysing music videos	As a group we analysed music videos, so by having a group input there was good and deep discussion about each music video.	By doing this it has made me realise how important it is to come up with a good story/concept as audiences can be very critical
Song decision	As a group we finally decided on one song. To get to this point it took a lot of time as we couldn’t agree on a song. So it was really hard, but overall, it was worth waiting for a long time to pick a song, as we wouldn’t have wanted to make an irrational choice.	I have learnt the difficulties of working as a group and how to overcome these and be a good, supportive group.
Genre presentation	We decided to create a presentation on the genre of our song choice. We did okay on this task.	From doing this we have learnt the trates and conventions of the genre and by fully researching it we are more confident with the knowledge of the genre.
Annotating lyrics	This task went well, as we all made equal contributions when annotating and thinking of ideas for the story of the music video.	I learnt how much detail we will have to put into our storyboard to make a\clear plan of the story in comparison to this task which was fairly brief.
How do you consume music?	This small task went well as I discovered the variety of ways and forms people consume music. Also, by being a music consumer I found it quite easy because I listen to music all the time.	This task has made me learn the variety of forms of which our music video could be consumed.

Social networking	To promote our artist we decided to set up social networking sites. Which were a website, twitter, youtube and  myspace. I think I did well on this task because I mainly created the website which I was pleased with and the other social network sites are all set up and ready to help the promotion and popularity of the video.	This task has made me realise the variety of forms of social networking and how important it is for an artist to have the use of internet to help with his promotion and representation of themselves.
